MORNING OF MARK ZUCKERBERG:

  • Not an early bird
After waking up at 8 a.m., the Facebook founder immediately checks Facebook, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp on his phone, he told Jerry Seinfeld in a Facebook Live Q&A.
  • Maintains his fitness
Once he’s gotten his morning updates, it’s time to work out. Zuckerberg typically exercises about three times a week.
  • Minimising decision fatigue
While the running joke that Zuckerberg wears the same t-shirt every day has basically become a meme, there’s actually a great reason behind it. Similar to Barack Obama and Jeff Bezos, the Facebook CEO is looking for ways to minimise decision fatigue throughout his day.
  • Not too picky for breakfast
Once he’s gotten his exercise in, Zuckerberg’s not too picky about what he eats for breakfast. He’ll usually just dig into whatever he’s feeling that day. He doesn’t like to waste time on small decisions.

AFTERNOON OF MARK ZUCKERBERG:

Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg either have zero work-life balance or he’s actually pretty good at it.

  • Spends 50 to 60 hours a week actually working
During a 2015 Facebook Q&A session, Zuckerberg revealed that he only spends 50 to 60 hours a week actually working; a very reasonable number for a tech CEO of one of the biggest companies in the world. But if you were to include the time he spends thinking about Facebook’s mission, well, it paints a different picture.

[“I spend most of my time thinking about how to connect the world and serve our community better, but a lot of that time isn’t in our office or meeting with people or doing what you’d call real work,” he said. “If you count the time, I’m in the office, it’s probably no more than 50-60 hours a week. But if you count all the time I’m focused on our mission, that’s basically my whole life.”]

  • Thinks how to serve best
“I really want to clear my life to make it so that I have to make as few decisions as possible about anything except how to best serve this community,” Zuckerberg explained. “I’m in this really lucky position, where I get to wake up every day and help serve more than a billion people. And I feel like I’m not doing my job if I spend any of my energy on things that are silly or frivolous about my life.”
  • Occasionally travels
Mark occasionally travels and isn’t in the office, but it seems like it’s more likely that his appointments come to our headquarters than vice versa.

He takes his job very seriously not just as a businessman but as a leader; he has helped keep the company culture what it is.

  • Spends his time to expand his ideas
When he’s not working, Zuckerberg spends some time expanding his mind. He’s learning Mandarin Chinese. He also tries to tackle as many books as he can — in 2015, he challenged himself to read a new book every two weeks.

FAMILY MAN MARK Whether he’s traveling or working, Zuckerberg also spends time with his wife, Dr. Priscilla Chan, and his daughter, Max. He took a two-month parental leave from Facebook after she was born in December 2015. In March 2017, the couple announced that they are expecting another daughter.

The question I ask myself like almost every day is, ‘Am I doing the most important thing I could be doing?’

EVENING OF MARK ZUCKERBERG:

  • Zuckerberg’s daily schedule tends to vary more on his frequent travels. Recently, Zuckerberg embarked on several trips around the US, prompting some to speculate that he’s interested in a future career in politics
  • Spends time with family
Now, as the parent of two daughters, Maxima and August, with his wife, Priscilla Chan, Zuckerberg has swapped out late-night hacking binges for sleep routines with his children. During a commencement speech at Harvard University, Zuckerberg talked about a bedtime ritual he had with his daughter Max.
  • Prayer before
“I am reminded of a prayer ‘Mi Shebeirach, [a traditional Jewish prayer] that I say whenever I face a big challenge that I sing to my daughter, thinking of her future when I tuck her in at night,” he said. “And it goes, ‘May the source of strength who has blessed the ones before us help us find the courage to make our lives a blessing.’”

AND WITH THE PRAYER, HE RESTS HIS DAY AND THANKS THE GOD, FOR AN ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL DAY, AND ASK SORRY TOO WHETHER HE MISTAKENLY HAVE DONE MISTAKE FOR.
