Satyanarayana is an Indian-born American business executive. Microsoft is something that is very essential in all business aspects, this influential person is the man behind this Microsoft. Well, he is the chairman and CEO of Microsoft, succeeding Steve Ballmer in 2014 as CEO. Before becoming the CEO of Microsoft, he was the executive vice president of the cloud and enterprise group of Microsoft. He was responsible for running and building the computing platforms of the company. He also published a book called ‘Hit fresh- The quest to rediscover Microsoft’s soul and imagine a better future for everyone, in the year 2017. The book has an audio format as well. Satya Nadella is an iconic profile and well recognized as a Global Indian business icon.

Mornings
- He believes in a healthy sleep routine
After his eight hours of peaceful sleep, he wakes up t 7 in the morning, he believes that one should follow a long-sleep-hour which is healthy and it makes him feel fresh and energetic in the morning. - He follows his daily ritual
After waking up, he first asks himself ‘What are you thankful for’ this is a ritual followed by him every day. - Gym, is an absolute thing for him
In an interview he said: ‘For me, the daily ritual is just a half-hour of hitting the gym every day, it doesn’t matter where I am, what time zone, how late I got in, I get up and go to the gym’.
Afternoons
- Never skip lunch
After his busy hours of meeting, he has his lunch on time, without skipping them. - He loves Indian Food
During an interview he said that he loves to cook Indian food, especially Hyderabadi Biryani.
Evenings
- Play a sport to stay healthy and fit
After a busy day of work, he returns home in the evening. Satya Nadella is a fitness freak and is passionate about going to the gym and he loves to play cricket. He keeps sports to maintain a healthy lifestyle. - He spends time with his family
He has three children, he talks to them and spends time with them after returning from work. - He goes to bed early.
He goes to bed around 11, which is quite early for a busy CEO like him, he manages to sleep for 7-8 hours, which keeps him active and fresh throughout the day.
Personal Interest
Nadella loves to read American and Indian poetry, he also has a very strong passion towards cricket, having played on his school team, his school has a good impact on cricket. In fact, he wanted to become a cricketer professionally. He and his wife Anupama are a part of the ownership group of Seattle Sounders FC, a major League Soccer club.
- And he is a gym addict, he goes to gym every morning.
- No matter what the situation is, it’s just 30 minutes of workout, yet it is a great refreshment, in an interview he said. He has also written a book called the ‘Hit Refresh’.
